*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MOT Tester to join our team. As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining road safety and compliance with regulations. This position requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various hand and power tools.

*Responsibilities*

* Perform MOT tests on a range of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
* Identify and report any defects or issues found during inspections.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and adjustments as necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and services performed.
* Communicate findings clearly to our reception team, providing recommendations for necessary repairs.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment.

*Experience*

* Proven experience as an MOT Tester or in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose vehicle issues accurately.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Experience with heavy lifting is advantageous, as the role may require moving equipment or parts.
* A valid MOT testing qualification is essential for this position.
