Are you an experienced Mechanic with a passion for cars and excellent customer service skills Our client is searching for a talented individual to join their team in the Nottingham, Long Eaton area. This family-run garage takes pride in the exceptional service it offers its loyal customers and is looking for a dedicated team player to uphold their high standards.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced Mechanic - MOT licence is desirable but not essential.
- Friendly and approachable attitude.
- Strong communication skills - comfortable interacting with customers.
- Proactive approach to ordering parts and managing stock.
- Flexible, reliable, and keen to work collaboratively in a small team.
Benefits On Offer:
- Competitive salary ranging from £25,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays, plus a Christmas shutdown.
- Discounted rates on MOTs and access to parts at company rates.
- Core working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm; Alternate Saturdays, 8am - 12pm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out vehicle maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
- Performing MOT tests (if qualified) or supporting colleagues in the process.
- Establishing friendly relationships with customers and providing excellent service.
- Ordering and managing stock of car parts efficiently.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth workshop operations.
