We are looking for an experienced and reliable MOT Technician (Class 4 & 7) to join our busy and growing workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who not only holds a valid MOT testing licence but is also confident carrying out major mechanical repairs.

• Conduct MOT tests to DVSA standards on Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles

• Carry out vehicle inspections and identify mechanical faults

• Complete a wide range of repairs including:

  • Gearbox replacements and repairs

  • Wet belt replacements

  • Clutch replacements

  • General servicing and mechanical work

• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard

• Maintain accurate job records and MOT documentation

• Follow health & safety procedures and workshop best practices

• Monday Thursday: 08:00 17:30

• Friday: 08:00 16:15

• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

• Valid Class 4 & 7 MOT Tester licence

• Minimum Level 3 Qualification (or equivalent)

• Proven experience in heavy mechanical repairs (gearboxes, clutches, wet belts essential)

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Full UK driving licence

• Good time management and attention to detail
