An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Band 7 Mortuary Manager to provide temporary cover within a respected NHS Trust based in Bath . This position is offered on a full-time basis for a fixed term to support the service during a short-term period of leave.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and daily operation of the mortuary service, ensuring that all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant legislation, including the Human Tissue Act, and internal policies and procedures. The role requires effective coordination of post-mortem services, staff supervision, and close liaison with internal departments and external agencies including pathologists, funeral directors, and the Coroners Office.
