We are looking for a Mortgage Compliance Advisor ( Business Standards Associate) to join us on a full-time , permanent basis, hybrid working, 3 days from our Basildon offices and 2 days working from home . In return, you will receive a salary of £24,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

• Complete 1-2-1s and observations
• Complete reviews of mortgage & insurance cases, provide feedback on risks, shortfalls or potential fraud for adviser action
• Deal with adviser queries by phone/email, giving instructions to complete cases in line with standards & regulations
• Monitor AR competence records (CPD) and provide feedback
• Review sales promotions & documentation and provide feedback/guidance as required
• Keep team spreadsheets up to date
  
  

• Previous mortgage file reviewing or adviser experience
• Experience of providing one to one feedback around compliance or receiving one to one feedback around compliance as a mortgage adviser
• Ability to prepare reports, create and interpret MI
• Keen eye for detail
• Probing, investigative, analytical
• Assertive communicator
• Able to fully satisfy the pre employment screening process which comprises of right to work, identity, 5 years referencing, AML, credit screen, financial sanctions and DBS checks
