A competitive base salary of 38,625, with on-target earnings of up to 50,000
A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to 44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities
40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, youll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, youll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage. Well equip you for success from day one with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided.

You're someone who gets people. This isnt just spanners and enginesour mechanics are out there on driveways, chatting with customers, giving advice, and representing the RAC with pride. Youre not just in the RACyou are the RAC. Every fix, every chat, every driveway visit shows what were all about.

You think on your feet. Youll be trusted to think on your feet and make the right call for each customer. Different fixes, different faces, new challenges every day.
What youll need:
Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
At least 3 years' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles
A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
