If you are passionate about machinery maintenance and repair, and are looking for a role that offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive work environment, we encourage you to apply.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nConduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, rollers, and other equipment.\nDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults to ensure minimal downtime.\nPerform inspections to ensure machinery is compliant with safety and operational standards.\nMaintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used and repairs completed.\nProvide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.\nEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.\nTravel to various sites as required to perform maintenance and repairs.\nQualifications\n\nProven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter or in a similar role.\nStrong knowledge of plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, and rollers.\nProficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.\nRelevant qualifications in plant maintenance or engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).\nFull UK driving license.\nAbility to work independently and manage time effectively.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nDay-to-Day\n\nStart your day at 7:00 AM and work until 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.\nTravel to various sites to perform maintenance and repairs on plant machinery.\nConduct thorough inspections and ensure all equipment is operating efficiently.\nCollaborate with team members and clients to address any issues or concerns.\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment, including your provided vehicle.\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive basic salary ranging from £38,000 to £45,000.\n29 days of holiday per year.\nCompany-provided vehicle for work purposes.\nOpportunity for overtime at 1.5x your standard rate.\n45-hour work week with consistent hours.\nSupportive and professional work environment.\nIf you are a motivated and experienced Mobile Plant Fitter looking for a rewarding career, we would love to hear from you.
