M Pro Recruitment is working with a well-established plant hire and equipment services provider seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Field Engineer to cover London and surrounding areas.\n\nThe Role:\nYou’ll deliver service, maintenance, breakdown repairs, and fault-finding on heavy plant and hire equipment at customer locations. This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring a technically confident engineer who can work independently and manage their own schedule.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Service, maintain, and repair heavy plant and construction equipment on-site\n\n * \n\n Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults efficiently\n\n * \n\n Ensure equipment is hire-ready and safe to operate\n\n * \n\n Complete accurate service and repair records\n\n * \n\n Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams\n\nExperience & Skills:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience working on heavy plant or construction equipment\n\n * \n\n Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding skills\n\n * \n\n Field-based experience covering London or similar metropolitan areas\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence\n\n * \n\n Good organisational and communication skills\n\nPackage:\n\n * \n\n Salary up to £50,000 DOE\n\n * \n\n Company vehicle, tools, and equipment provided\n\n * \n\n Monday to Friday working pattern\n\n * \n\n Holiday entitlement and ongoing training opportunities
