Mobile Maintenance Electrician – Swindon

Looking for a skilled Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover retail sites across the Swindon region.

This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hours, Monday–Friday) carrying out a mix of electrical and general building maintenance across multiple locations.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance, ensuring retail environments remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. The role involves regular travel between sites, using a company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance, repairs, and compliance checks
• Fault finding, emergency lighting tests, fuse board inspections, PAT testing, rewiring, and socket/switch repairs
• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across multiple sites
• General building maintenance including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and light fabrication
• Responding to emergency call-outs and resolving issues quickly
• Maintaining accurate maintenance and compliance records
• Working with site teams and subcontractors to resolve issues
• Travelling between sites across the region

What We’re Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Experience in commercial electrical maintenance, ideally in a mobile or multi-site role
• Strong fault finding and repair skills
• Multi-trade or general building maintenance experience
• Full UK driving licence
