Mobile Maintenance Electrician\n\nLocation: Birmingham (M5 / M6 / M42 region)\nSalary: £41,600 – £45,900 + benefits\nHours: 8:00am – 5:00pm\n\nThe Role\n\nWe’re looking for a skilled Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established facilities management team, supporting a portfolio of sites across the Birmingham region.\n\nThis Mobile Maintenance Electrician role covers multiple locations (up to 35 sites), delivering both planned and reactive maintenance within government buildings.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n\n * Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites\n\n * Ensuring all work is completed in line with compliance and safety regulations\n\n * Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently\n\n * Working independently while liaising with FM teams and stakeholders\n\n * Managing workload and travel as a Mobile Maintenance Electrician\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n * Electrically qualified Mobile Maintenance Electrician (essential)\n\n * Experience in multi-site or FM environments \n\n * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills\n\n * Ability to work independently\n\n * Full UK driving licence\n\nWhat’s On Offer\n\n * Salary £41,600 – £45,900\n\n * Company vehicle or allowance\n\n * Overtime available\n\n * On-call rota: 1 in 13/14 (£150 standby + 4-hour call-out)\n\n * Supportive team (9 engineers)\n\n * Training and upskilling opportunities\n\nAdditional Information\n\n * Travel across Birmingham region required\n\n * Security clearance: RTW, DBS, BPSS\n\n * Reporting to Contract Manager\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a Mobile Maintenance Electrician looking for a stable, varied role with long-term development
