About the Role
We are working with a well-established and reputable commercial vehicle specialist based in Northampton, delivering high-quality servicing and repairs across a wide range of HGVs and fleet vehicles.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician seeking excellent working hours and work-life balance, rarely found in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles
*
Attending customer sites as part of a mobile service operation
*
Preparing vehicles for MOT to DVSA standards
*
Conducting vehicle inspections and diagnostics
*
Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
*
Accurately recording work carried out and identifying additional repair needs
Requirements
*
Level 3 qualification in HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
*
IRTEC Inspection Accreditation (essential)
*
Proven experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
