We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider working on a long-term public sector contract.
This is a mobile field-based role covering South London, responsible for delivering planned maintenance and reactive repairs across a high-volume of sites.
You will be working on a critical public sector contract supporting multiple sites, each with commercial kitchens, dormitories, and associated building services infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and repair commercial gas systems
Fault-find and diagnose breakdowns across gas plant and heating systems
Work on boilers, water heaters, pipework, gas air heaters, and radiant tube heaters
Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
Carry out minor installation and remedial works
Produce technical reports, job sheets, and compliance documentation
Identify and quote for remedial works and lifecycle replacements
Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe regulations, RAMS, and H&S standards
Liaise with contract teams and client representatives
Candidate Requirements
Essential
Commercial Gas qualifications (Gas Safe registered)
Strong background in gas servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding
Experience in building services or FM environments
Full UK driving licence
Highly Desirable
Experience working on public sector or critical infrastructure contracts xbpsjku
Multi-skilled background (mechanical / electrical awareness)
Experience working with high-volume PPM/reactive workloads
Strong reporting and client-facing communication skills
