Job Description

Mobile Electrical Building Services Engineer required to cover Manchester and North West area, to £47k plus plenty of overtime and great benefits.\n\nOur client is a leading technical services provider who specialises in High profile Commercial Buildings Nationwide. Due to contract awards they are looking for a Mobile Multi Skilled Electrical / Building Services Engineer to cover a number of sites in the Manchester North West area.\n\nRole\n\n * Planned Maintenance on Electrical and HVAC plant, undertaking reactives and PPM's in a range of High End Commercial buildings.\n\n * Conduct site walk rounds and complete reports.\n\n * AHU's, FCU's\n\n * Checking UPS systems\n\n * Checking / repairing lighting / lamps / LED's/ ballasts etc\n\n * Checking Air Conditioning / Chiller Systems\n\n * Checking boilers / heating systems\n\n * Conduct tap and temperature tests\n\n * Changing belts / pumps etc\n\n * Changing / cleaning filters\n\nLocation\n\nCovering a number of Commercial properties in the general West London area.\n\nExperience required\n\n * Electrical Building services / facilities maintenance background.\n\n * Electrical qualifications - such as NVQ City & Guilds Level 2/3 along with 18th Edition rev 2.\n\n * Understanding of Electrical / HVAC PPM's, plant maintenance in a commercial environment (Not domestic or install).\n\n * Must be smart and presentable, have excellent communication skills and be client facing as you will be interacting with the client on sites on a daily basis.\n\n * Ideal candidate will live in or around the Manchester area.\n\nThe successful applicant will be provided with a company van, fuel card, specialist tools, power tools, uniform, a laptop and a mobile phone.\n\nSalary / benefits\n\n * Competitive salary to £47k based on 40hrs Mon - Fri\n\n * 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays\n\n * Pension (3% employee 5% company)\n\n * Medical insurance\n\n * Death in service\n\n * Standby (currently 1 in 6) and on call allowances. £135 for the week min 4 hrs standard call out paid, overtime paid at time and a half and double depending when worked.\n\n * Ongoing training and career development\n\nThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer who wants a fresh but rewarding challenge.
