Mobile Electrical Engineer – Temp to Perm – Surrey / Berkshire

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a growing team covering Surrey and Berkshire on a temp to perm basis.

This role offers the chance to secure a long-term permanent position following an initial contract period, working across a portfolio of commercial sites.

The Role

As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across multiple client sites, ensuring all electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works

Fault find, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and associated plant

Maintain systems including:

Lighting and emergency lighting

Power distribution and LV systems

Control panels and basic BMS interface

Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations

Complete job reports and update CAFM systems

Liaise with clients and provide a high level of customer service

Requirements

Recognised electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)

Experience within building services / facilities maintenance

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Full UK driving licence

Package
