Production Operative - Bangor Salary: Day Shift: £13.12 per hour Evening Shift: £16.27 per hour Shifts Available: Shift 1 (Day Shift): Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Friday: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm Shift 2 (Evening Shift): Monday to Thursday: 4:00 pm - Midnight Friday: 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm Duties: ? Operating Machinery: Set up, run, and monitor machines for production or manufacturing processes. Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, size) to ensure optimal performance. ? Inspection and Quality Control: Regularly inspect parts and materials for defects or irregularities. Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications. Record and report any quality issues to supervisors. ? Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct routine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication) on machinery to prevent downtime. Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs when necessary. Coordinate with maintenance technicians for complex repairs. ? Material Handling: Load raw materials or components into the machine and monitor supply levels. Unload finished products and prepare them for packaging or shipping. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain production logs, including quantities, machine downtime, and maintenance activities. Report operational issues, safety incidents, and maintenance needs. Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
