MMA Welder (Class 1)

Our client, a well established Marine Engineering company, is looking for MMA Welders to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a long term refit project.
Suitable candidates must be NVQ Level 3 or Apprenticeship qualified and have a strong background in MMA welding. Previous marine/ship repair experience would be ideal but other heavy industries are also suitable.
Successful applicants will be required to spend a week in the test bay. Multiple MMA tests nust be passed in order to join the project. So long as you pass day 1, your time in the test bay will be paid at the standard rate.
Full SC Clearance is required and once approved you will be taken through the clearance process before being issued a start date. Due to the level of clearance and the specific contract, candidates must be British.
If you already hold full SC clearance, we will ask you to obtain confirmation from the UKSV and a transfer will be arranged.
