Mixed Tax Manager – Oxfordshire
This well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Oxfordshire is looking for a tax manager to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong tax experience who enjoys working closely with clients and advising on a wide range of matters. The firm is people-focused and prides itself on offering flexibility, autonomy, and a collaborative working environment.
The role:
Managing a varied portfolio of clients, including HNWIs, owner-managed businesses, and limited companies
Reviewing personal and corporate tax returns
Leading on tax planning and advisory projects, including CGT, IHT, remuneration planning, and business structuring
Being a key point of contact for client queries and technical tax matters
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Liaising with HMRC and other external bodies where required
About you:
Significant experience in personal and corporate tax within an accountancy practice
CTA qualified (or qualified by experience)
Excellent communication skills and a confident, proactive approach with clients
Strong technical knowledge with the ability to handle complex tax matters
Able to manage workload independently while contributing to team success
Experience with tax software such as CCH or similar is beneficial
