MIG Welder – Day Shift – Walsall Actio Engineering Recruitment

Actio Engineering Recruitment are supporting a busy fabrication company in Walsall who are looking to bring in MIG Welders into their day‑shift team due to ongoing growth. This is a permanent role based on a day shift with an early finish on Friday.

The Work

You’ll be welding mainly mild steel across a mix of jig work, batch production, and bespoke one‑off jobs.

Key Responsibilities

* MIG welding on mild steel components and fabrications

* Working from drawings, jigs and job sheets

* Producing both repeat and bespoke work to a high standard

* Optional TIG welding and silver soldering depending on experience

* Ensuring quality and accuracy at all times

* Inspection of own work

What We’re Looking For

* Strong MIG welding background in a fabrication setting

* Confident working with mild steel

* Able to read and follow drawings

* Stainless, TIG or silver soldering experience is a bonus but not essential

* Reliable and quality‑focused approach

Hours

* Monday to Thursday – Day Shift

* Early finish every Friday

Salary

Pay rates are negotiable and dependant on experience as we have a number of positions available due to ongoing growth.
