Primary Purpose: Weld and fabricate thin gauge items from different materials working in collaboration with the Welding team leader, Production Engineering, and the Quality Department Shift: Rotational- Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00-22:00. Key Responsibilities * Perform welding operations using various techniques * Prepare metal materials for fabrication and welding * To ensure orders are completed to the correct standard, within budget and on time to meet the company Quality Objectives * To work from customer drawings and specifications to produce parts in accordance with the Quality - Code of Practice * To inspect parts following the Checking/Inspection Process * To ensure works orders are correctly opened and closed on the company`s computerised system - ProgressPlus * Actively monitor working practises and provide feedback to improve efficiencies and job profitability * Ensure adherence to Health and Safety standards, and environmental regulations in compliance with the Company policy to ensure safe working environment. * Maintain a clean and manageable work area ensuring that housekeeping standards are maintained in accordance with the Company Code of Conduct * Comply with the company Environmenta...
