We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining high safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Weld high-quality components, including setting up and operating a range of tooling and machinery (e.g., TIG, MIG welders, punches, and associated equipment)Prepare, clean, cut, burn, and weld components in line with specificationsSet up, measure, and assemble parts, selecting the appropriate welding methodsAccurately read and interpret welding drawings and technical specificationsComplete work documentation and maintain accurate production recordsMaintain a safe working environment by adhering to Health & Safety procedures and legal regulationsEnsure equipment is used correctly by following operating instructionsTroubleshoot breakdowns and carry out preventative maintenance where requiredMeet quality targets and consistently maintain high workmanship standardsQualifications & Experience:Minimum Level 2 NVQ, Indentured Apprenticeship, or equivalent qualificationPrevious experience in a similar welding roleRecognised welding qualification desirableStrong numeracy skillsEssential: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsAbility to work independently and use initiativeMust have their own mask and safety bootsWhat Were Looking For:Strong attention to detailCommitment to quality and safetyReliable and proactive approachTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to work autonomously when requiredIf you are a dedicated welder looking to join a professional and supportive environment, we would like to hear from you.
