Job Description

Job Title: Skilled Metal Fabricator \nLocation: Leicester (LE4 area) \nHours: \n* Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 15:30 \n* Overtime available as required \nSalary: £15.00 - £16.50 per hour (depending on skills and experience) \n \nOverview: \nWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Metal Fabricator to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fabricator to work on bespoke, high-quality metal products within a fast-paced and collaborative workshop environment. \n \nKey Responsibilities: \n* Fabricate bespoke metal products to precise specifications from aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel.

\n* Work from job sheets and engineering drawings to complete fabrications accurately and efficiently. \n* Operate machinery such as pillar drills, band saws, guillotines, and folders. \n* Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete assemblies and finishes.

\n* Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety and quality standards. \n* Maintain attention to detail while working to tight deadlines in a busy workshop. \n* Support team members and contribute to a positive working environment.

\n \nExperience & Skills Required: \n* Proven experience in metal fabrication (aluminium and mild steel). \n* Competent in MIG and TIG welding across a range of thicknesses (3mm - 25mm). \n* Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and workshop operations.

\n* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately. \n* Knowledge of EN 1090-2 mild steel fabrication standards advantageous. \n* Good mathematical skills and the ability to work in millimetres.

\n* Reliable, hardworking, and capable of using own initiative. \n* Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and good sense of humour. \n \nBenefits: \n* Competitive hourly rate (£15.00 - £16.50 per hour).
