MIG Welder – Defence Manufacturing

We're recruiting MIG welders for a globally recognised defence manufacturer in Stockport. You'll be welding armoured steel components for military vehicles - high-spec work in a company with full order books stretching years ahead.

What you'll be doing:

MIG welding on heavy-gauge armoured steel

Working to military specifications and precise tolerances

Contributing to defence projects for armoured vehicle platforms

What you need:

NVQ Level 3 in welding (or equivalent)

Proven MIG welding experience

Flexibility to cover occasional night shifts when required (uplifted rate applies)

Overtime paid at x1.33, x1.5, and x2

Days-based role with early finish Fridays
