Cheshire East Full-Time Long-Term Role

Pay: £140 - £220 per day (DOE)

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Astro Education is currently recruiting a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to support a secondary school based in Cheshire East.

We are working in close partnership with a supportive secondary school seeking a talented MFL Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons, primarily in German and/or Spanish, across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for stability and continuity while making a lasting impact within a single school environment.

Whether you are an experienced teacher, Early Career Teacher (ECT), Cover Supervisor, or returning to the classroom, we would love to hear from you.

• Deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons (German and/or Spanish) across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Work collaboratively with department staff and follow safeguarding procedures

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent (Cover Supervisors without QTS will also be considered)
• Experience teaching MFL in a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge in German and/or Spanish
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• A passion for languages and cultural learning
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
