Metal Fabrication Technician | Basingstoke | From £38,000 Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Metal Fabrication Technician to join their Manufacturing Department, working alongside an established team of welders and fabrication specialists.

You will play a key role in producing high-quality precision metal components used in the assembly of specialist machinery supplied worldwide to the food, pharmaceutical, and additive manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities As a Metal Fabrication Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components, including: Setting up and operating fabrication equipment such as press brakes, plasma cutters, and sheet rollers.

Interpreting and working from technical drawings and CAD files to produce accurate sheet metal components.

Performing welding and fabrication tasks across a range of metals in line with high industry standards.

Carrying out MIG, TIG, and (where required) laser welding processes.

Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding environments.

Strong understanding of sheet metal properties, fabrication methods, and machining operations.

Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings.

Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
