Our client is a leading MEP contractor delivering complex, high-value projects in the advanced manufacturing and life sciences sectors. They are seeking an MEP Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team on a flagship biopharmaceutical project in Hull, Yorkshire. The Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of subcontract procurement, contract administration, cost control, and reporting, playing a pivotal role in delivering commercial success on one of the regions most important industrial builds.
Working closely with the Regional Commercial Lead, the Quantity Surveyor will manage supply chain selection with a strong focus on identifying proven, high-performing local SMEs. The role requires an experienced professional with deep knowledge of JCT Design & Build contracts, a strong grasp of construction processes, and the ability to contribute to both the strategic and operational aspects of commercial delivery. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update detailed project cost plans in alignment with project goals Prepare monthly CVR reports, cost forecasts, and variance analysis Provide cost guidance to support key decision-making throughout the project lifecycle
