MEP Project Manager Opportunity – Tier 1 Main Contractor - Cambridge
We are working with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join their team on a major commercial development in Cambridge. This is a flagship project offering the opportunity to take full ownership of the MEP function from inception through to completion.
This role is suited to candidates with either a mechanical or electrical bias, provided you have a strong track record of delivering large-scale projects end-to-end.
The Role:
As MEP Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of MEP delivery, including:
* Design Management – Coordination and review of MEP design to ensure buildability and compliance
* Procurement – Managing subcontractor packages and supply chain engagement
* Installation Oversight – Ensuring quality delivery in line with programme
* Logistics & Planning – Coordinating site activities and sequencing of works
* Compliance – Maintaining adherence to all regulatory and safety standards
* Commissioning – Leading testing, validation, and system sign-off
* Handover – Driving a smooth project close-out and client handover
The Candidate:
* Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager on large-scale commercial projects
* Background in either Mechanical or Electrical disciplines
* Demonstrated ability to deliver projects from pre-construction through to handover
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or major subcontractors preferred
