A rapidly expanding water technology company is seeking an MEP Engineer to join its Solutions team in London. This role is ideal for someone with strong building-services experience who enjoys client interaction, technical problem-solving, and contributing to innovative projects across the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Design & Planning: Develop system designs, technical plans, and scopes for construction and real-estate projects.
- Client Engagement: Deliver technical presentations, support customer consultations, and coordinate planned solutions.
- Site Surveys: Conduct on-site engineering assessments to evaluate installation requirements and integration feasibility.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with sales, product, customer success, operations, and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Partner with global teams across different time zones.
- Market Support: Contribute to business development activities within the UK and wider European market.
Essential Requirements:
MUSTs:
- B.Eng in Building Services Engineering, MEP Engineering, or Civil/Environmental Engineering (water systems focus).
- 4+ years of experience in MEP engineering, building services, or water-system design.
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and British Standards (BS).
- Ability to work both remotely and from the London office.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, MEP layouts, and plumbing schematics.
Preferred Skills:
- CIBSE membership or working toward chartership.
- Experience with plumbing systems and water-management engineering.
- High technical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
- Previous involvement in UK construction projects.
- Proficiency with BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit) and Bluebeam.
- Understanding of IoT systems and smart-building technologies.
