Job Description
A rapidly expanding water technology company is seeking an MEP Engineer to join its Solutions team in London. This role is ideal for someone with strong building-services experience who enjoys client interaction, technical problem-solving, and contributing to innovative projects across the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Design & Planning: Develop system designs, technical plans, and scopes for construction and real-estate projects.
Client Engagement: Deliver technical presentations, support customer consultations, and coordinate planned solutions.
Site Surveys: Conduct on-site engineering assessments to evaluate installation requirements and integration feasibility.
Project Coordination: Work closely with sales, product, customer success, operations, and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Cross-Border Collaboration: Partner with global teams across different time zones.
Market Support: Contribute to business development activities within the UK and wider European market.
Essential Requirements:
MUSTs:
B.Eng in Building Services Engineering, MEP Engineering, or Civil/Environmental Engineering (water systems focus).
4+ years of experience in MEP engineering, building services, or water-system design.
Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and British Standards (BS).
Ability to work both remotely and from the London office.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, MEP layouts, and plumbing schematics.
Skills:
CIBSE membership or working toward chartership.
Experience with plumbing systems and water-management engineering.
High technical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
Previous involvement in UK construction projects.
Proficiency with BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit) and Bluebeam.
Understanding of IoT systems and smart-building technologies.
