This is a large-scale, technically complex development currently in its delivery phase, offering a genuine opportunity to play a central role in shaping and driving design outcomes.This is a significant project, providing the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a landmark development within a dynamic and internationally experienced organisation.The RoleReporting to the Deputy Project Director, you will lead all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring that systems are designed, coordinated, installed, and commissioned in line with programme, budget, quality, and safety requirements.You will play a central role in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring seamless integration of building services within the overall construction delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all MEP design, coordination, installation, and commissioning activitiesCoordinate with design consultants, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure integration of MEP systemsReview and validate MEP designs, drawings, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications and UK regulationsMonitor site progress and ensure delivery in line with programme milestones and quality standardsIdentify and resolve technical issues, clashes, and coordination challenges across disciplinesEnsure compliance with UK Building Regulations, British Standards, and CIBSE guidelinesSupport procurement activities through technical input, tender reviews, and supplier alignmentWork closely with planning and commercial teams to assess programme and cost implicationsOversee testing, commissioning, and handover of all MEP systems, ensuring operational readinessDrive value engineering initiatives to optimise performance, cost, and sustainabilityEnsure implementation of HSE standards across all MEP activitiesAbout YouExperience1015+ years experience managing MEP works within large-scale construction projectsProven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating complex building services systemsStrong background in site execution, design coordination, and commissioningExperience on major infrastructure or complex building projects is highly desirableQualificationsDegree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.Skills & KnowledgeStrong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and BMS systemsExperience in MEP design coordination and systems integrationSolid understanding of UK building regulations, British Standards, and CIBSE guidelinesAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and commissioning requirementsStrong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skillsFamiliarity with BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks) and project planning tools (Primavera, MS Project)Working EnvironmentRegular on-site presence required to support coordination, installation, and commissioning activities with some flexibility for hybrid working.Opportunity to work with international teams across the wider organisationFast-paced, technically complex project environmentWhat We OfferCompetitive annual base salary28 days annual leave, including UK public holidays Private medical healthcare Pension scheme Mobile phone allowance (up to £40 per month) Why Join This ProjectThis is an opportunity to take a leading role in delivering building services on a major, high-impact construction project in North London, within a globally recognised organisation.You will gain exposure to complex project delivery, work alongside experienced industry professionals, and contribute to the successful integration of technically demanding MEP systems within a collaborative environment.EligibilityApplicants must have the right to work in the UK.
