Role Overview The Facilities Management (FM) Manager will oversee the handover, operation, and long-term maintenance of all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services within a major commercial office building in Canary Wharf. The role will manage the transition from project completion into full operational facilities management, ensuring all building systems are properly commissioned, documented, and maintained. Following handover, the FM Manager will retain ongoing responsibility for the performance, compliance, and lifecycle management of the building’s M&E infrastructure, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Handover & Transition

Manage the transition from construction to operational facilities management.

Review commissioning documentation, O&M manuals, warranties, and asset registers.

Ensure all building systems are fully tested, compliant, and ready for operational use.

Coordinate with project teams and contractors to resolve outstanding issues.

Implement operational procedures and maintenance strategies.
