This school are looking for a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to join in the classroom and support in the following ways: Facilitate one to one interventions Ensure the students are following their educational health care plans Support with modelling healthy ways to cope Supporting in conflict resolution and helping students process and regulate their emotions Supervise playtimes Encourage and ensure the students feel supported throughout the school day Report back to the class teacher and other multi-disciplinary professionals on the progress of the students To be a great Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will need to be empathetic, patient and come with a positive attitude.
