Membership Officer – Heritage / Cultural Charity

London | Permanent, Full Time | £31,000

A leading cultural organisation is searching for a Membership Officer to help grow and strengthen its membership community. This is an exciting role for someone passionate about member engagement, customer experience and data‑driven growth.

What you’ll do:

• Drive membership acquisition, retention and revenue growth
• Deliver excellent member communications and stewardship
• Use Raiser’s Edge NXT to manage accurate, GDPR‑compliant data
• Support on‑site membership recruitment and staff training
• Collaborate with marketing, visitor experience and development teams
• Contribute to campaigns, events and member experience improvements

What we’re looking for:

✔ Experience in membership ideally within a charity/heritage/culture organisation

✔ Strong communication skills

✔ Knowledge of Gift Aid & data protection

✔ Skilled with CRM systems (Raiser’s Edge preferred)
