We are a fast-growing, specialist digital marketing agency operating under two distinct brands.
Our primary agency, Pink Orange, is a leading education marketing agency working with Higher Education institutions and Independent Schools to build complex, multi-channel campaign architectures that drive measurable enrolment growth.
Our second agency, wonderwork, is a digital marketing agency built for challenger brands, creating marketing ecosystems for growth-getter companies looking to shake up their industry and scale fast.
We are expanding rapidly and need a meticulous, strategically-minded Media Buyer to join our performance team.
The Role
This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely understands paid media execution. We don't just need someone to press buttons in Ads Manager; we need someone with an analytical mind who can manage complex campaigns, maintain flawless documentation, and think critically about performance.
You will be executing and optimising campaigns across two very different client worlds. For Pink Orange, you will be managing long decision cycles, complex attribution, and high-consideration lead generation. For wonderwork, you will be handling shorter funnels and faster feedback loops.
While you will report to the Head of Performance & Digital and work alongside a Senior Media Buyer, you are expected to take ownership of your accounts. You won't be expected to lead the overarching agency strategy, but you will be expected to execute flawlessly, spot tracking issues early, pace budgets perfectly, and provide clear, actionable insights on what is working and what isn't.
What You Will Actually Do
- Campaign Execution & Optimisation: Set up, manage, and continuously optimise campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, and LinkedIn.
- Budget Management: Make sensible, data-driven decisions about pacing, testing, scaling, and stopping campaigns. You will be responsible for ensuring budgets are spent efficiently and never over/under-pace without a strategic reason.
- Rigorous Documentation: Maintain clean, accurate pacing sheets, test plans, and forecasting models. We rely on clear documentation, not just gut instinct.
- Tracking & QA: Care deeply about clean tracking. You will use GA4, GTM, and platform dashboards to monitor performance, spotting tracking issues early and fixing or clearly flagging them.
- Reporting & Insight: Translate complex platform data into simple, actionable insights for the Account Leads and Head of Performance. You need to be honest about what’s working, what isn’t, and what to do next.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the content team, feeding performance insights back to them to inform new creative and landing page strategies.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Media Buyer with 3-4 years of agency experience who takes immense pride in the accuracy and quality of their work.
- Multi-Platform Experience: You must have strong, hands-on experience across Google Ads and Meta. Experience with LinkedIn, TikTok, or Snapchat is a significant bonus. (If your expertise is only Google, this role is not the right fit).
- Exceptional Attention to Detail: You double-check your UTMs, you QA your tracking, and your pacing sheets are always up to date. You don't make careless errors.
- Analytical Rigour: You don't just look at the CPL; you look at the whole funnel. You understand the difference between a cheap lead and a qualified lead.
- Strategic Execution: You don't need to be the Head of Strategy, but you do need to understand why a campaign is built a certain way, and you must be able to suggest tactical improvements based on the data you see.
- Clear Communication: You can explain platform performance clearly to colleagues who don't live inside Ads Manager all day.
