Mechatronics Engineer \n\nA market-leading manufacturer of advanced testing and measurement instrumentation is looking to recruit a Mechatronics Engineer to support an ambitious new product development programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering team and play a hands-on role in designing and delivering innovative test systems. \n\nSalary & Benefits \n\nCompetitive salary, dependent on experience \n\nPermanent, full-time position \n\nLong-term career development within a growing business \n\nThe Role \n\nDesign, prototype, and test mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems for test instrumentation \n\nSupport the integration of robotic systems into automated test equipment \n\nEnsure designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements \n\nWork closely with the engineering team to transfer new products into production \n\nIdentify and implement design improvements to reduce cost and improve performance \n\nThe Person \n\nHNC or higher in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar \n\nIndustrial experience in mechanical hardware and system design \n\nCompetent using 2D and 3D CAD software, ideally SolidWorks \n\nExperience with mechatronic or robotic systems highly advantageous \n\nKnowledge of electronics, firmware, software, or scientific instrumentation beneficial \n\nEligible to work and live in the UK \n\nThis role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging products within a forward-thinking engineering organisation focused on innovation and growth.
