Job Summary: We are a busy independent garage serving the village of Marnhull and surrounding areas for over 30 years. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanic to join our team in maintaining and repairing vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive maintenance. Must be capable of working independently and and have excellent knowledge of modern diagnostic techniques and tools
Duties:- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify any potential problems- Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed- Keep work area clean and organised
Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components- Excellent problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
MOT tester is preferred but not essential. Support in gaining MOT qualification will be given to the right candidate
