Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer/Field service Engineer to contribute to innovative projects within the Water & Wastewater / Environmental Infrastructure . The role is based in Nottingham and surrounding areas, focusing on delivering engineering solutions in a permanent capacity.\n\nClient Details\n\nThe employer is a large-sized organisation specialising in Engineering - Water & Wastewater / Environmental Infrastructure. They are committed to providing cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing solutions to their clients, fostering a culture of technical expertise and innovation.\n\nDescription\n\nInstall, commission, set up and test water filtration and wastewater treatment systems.\nCarry out site inspections, fault‑finding and condition surveys, producing reports to support quotations and project delivery.\nInterpret technical instructions and documentation using mobile electronic devices.\nWork safely in challenging environments, including confined spaces, at height and outdoors on wastewater sites.\nTravel regularly with overnight stays and undertake occasional workshop‑based work.\nWork collaboratively with engineers, technicians and other trades.\nCompleted a recognised mechanical apprenticeship with City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.\n\nProfile\n\nA successful Mechanical Engineer should have:\n\nHold a full, valid UK driving licence.\nLevel 3 City & Guilds Qualified\nServed a recognised mechanical apprenticeship\nTravel regularly between sites, often requiring overnight stays.
