Maintenance Technician – Billingham Salary: £39,000 – £41,000 Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be exclusively recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join a well-established production facility based in Billingham. This is a full-time, permanent role offering excellent career prospects within a highly regulated, safety-focused environment.

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be a key member of the site maintenance team, ensuring plant equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. You’ll support production teams to achieve targets while working within an Upper Tier COMAH facility.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out routine and preventative maintenance programmes.

* Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, implementing both immediate fixes and long-term improvements.

* Record all maintenance activity using site software.

* Support day-to-day stores and logistics operations, including occasional collections/deliveries.

* Liaise with internal departments, external contractors, and specialist engineers.

* Supervise on-site contractors for maintenance and modifications.

* Commission and install new equipment to support production improvements.

* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
