The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Technician to join the team at Rye House Power Station.
You will take ownership of mechanical maintenance activities across the site - planning, scheduling, supervising contractors, preparing method statements and risk assessments, and carrying out hands‑on maintenance work. This role is ideal for a practical, safety‑driven engineer with a strong background in rotating machinery, pressure systems, and fault diagnosis within heavy industry or power generation.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping across the station. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including the Health & Safety at Work Act and the Environmental Protection Act. Prepare and manage mechanical maintenance contracts to support station needs. Act as Com...
