Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Site ManagerChertsey, Surrey£60,000-£70,000 + Package An experienced Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Site Manager is required for a bespoke ultra high-specification residential development in Chertsey, Surrey. This is a flagship project with approximately £40m of mechanical and electrical works, requiring a strong mechanically biased professional to oversee the delivery of mechanical services on site and ensure installation quality, programme performance, and safety standards are maintained throughout the project. Project Scope The development includes several specialist packages and complex building services elements, including:Energy centre and plant infrastructureFull house M&E systemsITAV integrationHigh-end sanitaryware supply and installationDecorative lighting packagesLift installations Role Overview You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and supervision of mechanical services installation, coordinating subcontractors and site teams while ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification, and to the high standards expected on a luxury residential scheme. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise day-to-day mechanical installation works on siteManage subcontractors and direct labour across mechanical packagesEnsure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programmeMonitor and enforce health & safety standards on siteLiaise with project management, consultants, and other tradesMonitor installation quality and assist with inspections and snaggingSupport testing, commissioning, and system handoverMaintain site records and assist with progress reporting Experience & RequirementsProven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or Mechanical Site Manager within the UK M&E sectorExperience delivering high-end residential or technically complex projectsStrong understanding of plant rooms, mechanical systems, and coordinated installationsAbility to manage subcontractors and maintain programme deliverySSSTS or SMSTS preferredCSCS Card required (Gold or Black preferred) SkillsStrong leadership and site coordination skillsHigh attention to detail and installation qualityGood communication and stakeholder management abilityStrong understanding of construction site operations and health & safety Package£60,000-£70,000 salary, depending on experienceBenefits package includedOpportunity to work on a flagship luxury residential development This role offers an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased site professional to play a key role on a high-value, bespoke residential project delivering complex building services installations.JBRP1_UKTJ
