Mechanical Site Manager, South East London to £375 a day - temp 8-9 months+ - Tier 1 MEP Contractor Are you an established Freelance Mechanical Site Manager with a proven background of experience working within the Building Services and M&E sector? Would you relish the opportunity to work for one of the UK's most prestigious M&E contractors on one of their most iconic projects? Your background and experience, together with an industry recognised qualification, will be well rewarded for working hard on a M&E package of around £15M on a large commercial office shell and core project. Previous M&E Fit-out project experience would be advantageous. Responsibilities
Manage and oversee self delivery team and specialist outside sub-contractors ensuring all Health and Site Safety is in place and adhered to. Experience of using an iPad for reporting using Fieldview software would be advantageous. Work closely with M&E Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, Project Managers, Managers, Design Engineers, Coordinators and CAD Draughtsmen to deliver the project on time and to budget.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager within the Building Services and M&E sector. Tier 1 MEP Contractor background or equivalent. Industry recognised qualification in Mechanical or related discipline. Strong knowledge of M&E Fit-out projects and core construction. Excellent health and safety leadership and site safety management skills.
