Mechanical Site Manager - Portsmouth - 7 months - £neg Duration: 7 Months Start Date: ASAP Location: Portsmouth Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35) We are currently working with an established M&E contractor who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to work on a high-profile military project based in Portsmouth for 7 months. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation activities on site Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety requirements Attend progress meetings and liaise with the project and design teams Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure adherence to drawings and standards Review RAMS, permits, and ensure site documentation is maintained Support commissioning and handover processes
Requirements
Proven track record as a Mechanical Site Manager on MEP projects Experience working on military or public sector projects is preferred Strong technical understanding of HVAC and building services systems Excellent communication and leadership skills SMSTS and CSCS essential; First Aid preferred Security Clearance is needed, so candidates must be eligible to gain clearance
