Mechanical Service Engineer\n\nLocation: UK field based with regional patch. Travel across the UK and occasional Europe\nType: Full time, permanent\nSalary:£38,000 to £42,000 basic, negotiable DOE\nOvertime:Door to door. High potential.

You will install, commission, diagnose and repair lathes and machining centres to keep customers productive.\n\nKey responsibilities\n\nMechanical rebuild and service: ballscrewand linear guidereplacement, spindleexchange, gib adjust and scraping\nMachine installation and relocation: geometry checks, alignments and level\nFault finding and diagnosis on mechanical and hydraulic systems\nPlanned maintenance and health checks with clear documentation\nSupport commissioning with accurate handover and operator guidance\nRequirements\n\nTime -served in mechanical engineering or maintenance\nStrong experience on CNC lathes and machining centres\nConfident with geometry, alignment and precision measurement\nAble to read mechanical drawings and service documentation\nFull UK driving licence.
