Mechanical Project Manager / Contracts Manager – Live Environment Projects\n London & South East | £70,000 – £85,000 + Package\n We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected and established M&E contractor that has built a reputation for delivering technically complex mechanical projects across the commercial, healthcare, and education sectors. Due to continued success and project awards, they are looking to bring on board a Mechanical Project Manager / Contracts Manager to lead multiple live environment projects.\n This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project leader who understands the demands and sensitivities of operating in occupied spaces and thrives on building strong client relationships while delivering high-quality work.\n Key Responsibilities:\n \nLead mechanical works across multiple live environment projects from pre-construction through to handover \nManage day-to-day site activities, subcontractors, and in-house teams to ensure smooth project delivery \nOversee health & safety, compliance, procurement, and commercial performance \nMaintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams \nWork within active environments such as schools, hospitals, or office buildings with minimal disruption \nSupport in forecasting, resource planning, and contract administration \nDeliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards What You’ll Need:\n \nPrevious experience managing mechanical packages in live environments \nStrong leadership and stakeholder management abilities \nExcellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills \nBackground working with an M&E or mechanical contractor \nSound understanding of HVAC, public health systems, and building services \nSMSTS / SSSTS and valid CSCS card What’s on Offer:\n \n£70,000 – £85,000 basic salary \nTravel expenses and full package \nA supportive and stable company with a low staff turnover \nOpportunity to progress within a forward-thinking business that values technical skill and integrity If you're a Mechanical Project or Contracts Manager looking for your next role within a business that values quality and long-term client relationships, we’d love to hear from you
