Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Ductwork Project Manager to oversee HVAC ductwork projects from initial planning through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple ductwork installation projects simultaneously

Plan project timelines, resources, and manpower requirements

Coordinate with clients, engineers, and site teams

Review drawings, specifications, and project scope

Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost forecasts

Oversee procurement of materials and equipment

Conduct site visits and progress meetings

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

Manage subcontractors and direct labour teams

Track project progress and produce reports

Resolve technical and logistical issues on-site

Ensure quality standards and installation accuracy

Support tendering and pre-construction activities when required

Requirements

Proven experience in ductwork or HVAC project management

Strong understanding of sheet metal duct systems and installation methods

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Knowledge of construction health & safety regulations

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Strong budgeting and cost-control experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Experience with project management software (preferred)

Full driving license (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

HVAC or Mechanical Engineering background

SMSTS / SSSTS certification

CSCS Card

Experience working on commercial construction projects

Knowledge of BIM / coordination processes (advantageous)
