* Managing the successful completion of the project/area under control in line with agreed quality and commercial plans to achieve targets within agreed timescales and cost constraints.
* Ensuring the design and installation meets internal and client specifications and statutory requirements as a minimum.
* Providing leadership for the project team members within your area of control, setting clear expectations, offering guidance and feedback to maximise team performance and ensure objectives are met.
* Contributing to the identification of project risks and opportunities, supporting project team members, providing suggestions, and taking responsibility for mitigation or enhancement within your area of control.
* Understanding relevant budgets, commercial priorities, and their implications in relation to your role.
* Making sound decisions based on clear criteria and facts.
* Managing your workload in line with project goals and priorities.
* QHSE management with support from the QHSE team.
* Specification and procurement of project supply chain.
* Programme & progress management including short-term planning updates and 6-week lookahead; Aphex is the project software used.
* Demonstrating commercial awareness of the project; NEC4 experience is beneficial.
* Authoring, reviewing, and progressively assuring ITPs, RAMS, and life-time quality records.
* Liaising directly with the document control team to ensure delivery teams are working with the latest document revisions and following project processes and procedures; ProjectWise experience would be beneficial.
* Managing interdisciplinary interfaces between all parties including client, subcontractor, and internal teams.
* A trade background is beneficial, along with knowledge of installation and building M&E systems.
* A strong understanding of buildability and coordination processes in a commercial/industrial construction environment is desirable.
