Project Manager – HIU Supply & Retrofit Upgrades

Location: Chessington Office + UK Client Sites

Department: Projects & Delivery

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (Office & Site-Based)

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (DOE)

Are you a degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record in project management?


Join a leader in smart heating systems and take charge of end-to-end delivery of Heat Interface Unit (HIU) projects across the UK — from new-build installations to retrofit upgrades that boost energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the full project lifecycle – from planning and procurement to commissioning and handover.
  • Deliver high-impact projects that meet performance, budget, and regulatory targets (including Ofgem compliance).
  • Lead on-site delivery and collaborate with suppliers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless execution.
  • Drive safety and quality through robust RAMS, H&S plans, and technical governance.
  • Track performance using cost trackers, SPI/CPI metrics, and integrated delivery programmes.


What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related discipline) – essential.
  • Strong project management experience in mechanical, building services, or energy-related sectors.
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations, RAMS, and health & safety best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and project cost tracking tools.

  • Approved project scopes, risk registers, and delivery schedules
  • Procurement and logistics coordination
  • Weekly progress and H&S reports
  • Commissioning certificates and O&M documentation
  • Project closure reports with lessons learned
