Recognised multiple times as a “Best Managed Company” by Deloitte, they have successfully completed numerous large-scale projects across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.\n\nRole Overview\n\nThe Mechanical Project Engineer will support the delivery of projects from a technical standpoint. Reporting to the Project Manager or Contracts Manager, this role requires a mix of office-based and site-based work depending on project needs.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Develop an in-depth understanding of project designs, specifications, and requirements.\n\n * Prepare and manage technical submittals as directed by the Project or Contracts Manager.\n\n * Collaborate with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, Design Teams, and QS on project progress and reporting.\n\n * Ensure email communications include the project reference in the subject line.\n\n * Raise and track Requests for Information (RFIs) and maintain the RFI log.\n\n * Monitor orders of long-lead equipment to avoid delays.\n\n * Ensure site teams work from the latest design drawings.\n\n * Record as-built modifications and update drawings accordingly.\n\n * Supervise Sub-Contractor compliance and performance.\n\n * Participate in site meetings and provide technical input.\n\n * Assist the QS with variations, change management, and procurement support.\n\n * Manage relevant external communications with stakeholders.\n\n * Ensure all works comply with Building Regulations, industry standards, and Health & Safety requirements.\n\n * Follow all company EHSQ policies and procedures.\n\n * Compile Operation & Maintenance manuals and support commissioning and handover.\n\n * Maintain project documentation in the company’s document management system.\n\n * Perform any additional duties as required by the Project or Contracts Manager.\n\nQualifications & Skills\n\n * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent trade background.\n\n * Strong understanding of tendering and project delivery processes.\n\n * Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project.\n\n * Flexible, willing to learn, and able to adapt to various project requirements.\n\nBenefits\n\n * 23 Days annual leave\n\n * Competitive salary\n\n * Professional Development support\n\n * Employee Assistance Program\n\n * Health and Wellness programs\n\n * Bike to work scheme
