Mechanical Project Manager – Client Side Location: Guildford Salary: Competitive + Benefits

We are working with a well-established organisation delivering a range of projects across healthcare, education, and public sector environments. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager with a client-side background to support the delivery of projects ranging from £50k to £2m.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing mechanical projects from inception through to completion, acting as the key point of contact between stakeholders, consultants, and contractors. Projects are typically within hospitals, schools, and universities, requiring a strong understanding of live environments and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

* End-to-end project management of mechanical works

* Managing budgets, programmes, and procurement processes

* Coordinating consultants, contractors, and internal teams

* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and relevant regulations

* Overseeing project delivery within live/operational environments

* Reporting on project progress to senior stakeholders

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Mechanical Project Manager role

* Client-side experience is essential

* Proven track record delivering projects between £50k – £2m

* Experience working within healthcare, education, or similar environments

* Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills

* Relevant mechanical or building services qualification preferred
