Job Description
Take ownership of major projects and lead your own team while shaping your path to Associate Directorship.\n\nYou’ll guide mechanical building services projects from concept to completion, with the freedom to influence design decisions and mentor the next of engineers. Your workload will be regularly analysed to give you exposure to new duties and help you learn even more.\n\nYou'll work on a wide range of exciting projects in healthcare, high-tech industrial and high-rise sectors, giving you the chance to develop specialist skills and build a strong portfolio.\n\nOn top of that, you'll get a £6,500 car allowance, a 5% contributory pension, a laptop, phone and agile working.\n\nWhat you’ll do\n\nYou'll lead projects and manage a team completing mechanical building services projects. You'll meet with clients to agree the brief and oversee the concept and detailed design of mechanical systems.\n\nYou'll organise and resource a team into a workstream to carry out design duties and liaise with REVIT and CAD departments to ensure accurate drawing production. You'll also work closely with architects and sub-contractors to ensure designs are installed efficiently.\n\nWhat you’ll need\n\n * 10 years or more mechanical building services design experience\n\n * Good man management skills and the ability to lead and inspire a team\n\n * Ambition to become a future Associate Director, with a clear path to achieve this\n\nAbout the company\n\nThe company is an independently run building services consultancy with over four offices and 50 staff nationwide.
