Job Description Mechanical Plumber - Glasgow - Salary up to £39,000 DOE
CBW are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Plumber to join a leading facilities management provider. This is a permanent, full-time mobile role, covering Glasgow and the Central Belt of Scotland.
Booster Pump experience is essential for this role.
You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and reliability of mechanical and plumbing systems across multiple client sites, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with the maintenance specification
\n
Maintenance and repair of mechanical installations
\n
Maintenance and repair of plumbing installations
\n
Complete all required paperwork for PPM, reactive and breakdown works and submit promptly
\n
Update the customer CAFM system in real time
\n
Respond to reactive tasks and proactively identify improvement opportunities
\n
Identify and record plant failures, raising quotations to the line manager
\n
Ensure all plant faults and defects are rectified quickly to maintain serviceability
\n
Supervise and monitor sub-contractor works on site
\n
Attend breakdowns outside normal working hours and participate in the regional on-call rota
\n
Work out of hours when required to meet maintenance commitments
\n
Conduct regular audits of vehicle, tools, and test equipment to ensure compliance and safety
\n
Person Specification:

Recognised industry qualification (essential)
\n
Booster Pump experience (essential)
\n
Trade-qualified Mechanical / Plumber with post-apprenticeship experience (essential)
\n
18th Edition Electrical Qualification ()
\n
Health & Safety qualification (IOSH )
\n
Full, clean UK driving licence
\n
Legionella awareness ( – training available)
\n
Asbestos awareness ( but not essential)
\n
MEWP licence ( but not essential)
\n
